A supplier of local hardwoods for trade and the public, Wentwood Timber was established in 2002 by Monmouthshire County Council to provide a stockpile of local timber for use by businesses and the wider public and to promote the use of Monmouthshire hardwoods harvested from sustainably managed woodlands(only FSC sources). This assists their development as an integral part of the local economy.
Wentwood uses only indigenous Welsh hardwoods harvested from managed forests in Wales (only FSC sources) and they operate a strict environmental policy covering not only the timber used but the whole operation.
